Yes. We drove by labor day weekend, and it was very much closed (and looked somewhat overgrown with weeds). Not sure if they plan on reopening or not, it was a cool place to stop on a long ride.

I hope so as well. I have a feeling buffets won't be back for a while. Hopefully they will come back soon in the form of cafeteria-style with a server responding to your request for a particular item as you go thru the line? Either way, you can't beat John's Family Restaurant. The food and service are the best.
